Overview

Position: IRATA Level 3 Supervisor

Location: Nationwide Coverage (based from Ellesmere Port, Cheshire).

Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00.

Salary: circa. £45,000.00 p.a. basic + overtime, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Role

We have a great opportunity for an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor to join our growing team. Based from our office in Ellesmere Port, you will be leading operational teams working on various onshore projects throughout the UK.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervising a team of IRATA technicians and operational personnel.
• Proficiency in all aspects of Rope Access Operations including Rescue, Rigging and Hauling Systems.
• Delivering toolbox talks, project briefs, and liaising with customers on-site.
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of the IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP) and key legislation.
• Undertaking planning tasks including compiling risk assessments and method statements.
• Carrying out pre-works site visits, meetings, and aiding with compliance audits.
• Providing support at company demonstrations, events, and functions.
• Assisting with equipment inspections and logistics.

Key Skills & Qualifications Required

• IRATA Level 3 Certification.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Proficient in time management and prioritising tasks.
• Capability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as required.

Desirable Experience

Experience / certificates below are desirable but not required as full training will be provided.

• Experience within the construction sector desirable
• First Aid Certificate
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Confined Space Medium/High Risk
• IPAF MEWP
